Escape to Patagonia

So while we wait for the now four day behind schedule
support truck issue to be resolved, we’ve decided to duck out of BA
and the 98degree heat for Patagonia and the one of the most
beautiful places on the planet, Bustamante. Here sea lions,
penguins and killer whales share the beautiful coastline with
ostriches and lamas and some of the best wines we’ve ever had from
Mendoza. My friend Astrid and fabulous partner Mateos run this old
seaweed farming piece of paradise which without detailed directions
would never be discovered. Housing twenty guest only, they
entertain Eco escapes via Landrover across a stunning coastal vista
with water so blue, it looks truly Carribean. Chief Sophia makes
dishes to die for and driver Tobias brings the dullest plant
description and animal mannerism to a whole new plateaux of
importance. Of course South American travel can never go without
some form of excitement and we escaped the fuel crises, no
electricity issues and the slowest service in the world of BA for a
transfer from the airport to Bustamante in a Landrover that blew up
one hundred yards from the terminal departure area. Thank goodness
